She did a great job! We tied a quilt and ate and talked and giggled.
You know what was neat? She took a video of Joe. She asked him questions about himself and he gave his answers. Then at the shower she would play part of that video where she would ask him a question and then she would pause it to see if I knew the answer. After I guessed, she would continue the video to see what his answer was. If I got it right then I would get a gift from a basket full of gifts. If I got it wrong then I would just get embarrassed for my reward. It was a lot of fun and it was a great way for the people there to get to know Joe a little too. That was THE best bridal shower game I have ever played.
Joe showed up at the end and was all embarrassed again with all the women looking at him and smiling at him. Don't worry, everyone was kind to him. I guess it's hard to be in the spotlight. He helped tie the quilt and helped trim the yarn after everyone left. What a guy!

I so wanted to be there! If I would have known how uncooperative the weather was going to be on the big (reception) day, I would have come down for the shower at least! Looks like you all had an excellent time. I love that shower game, too! What a good idea!
That does sound like a fun shower game. How smart. I wish we could've come but thanks for posting pictures.
Wish I could've been there! Sure miss y'all - how's it going? That pic. of you and Celeste is gorgeous!
